The Elusive Lou: the archetypical man-eater

How you've smitten my two loves, Nietzsche and Rilke, and great men like Freud,Wagner among others, is beyond me. If at the age of 21, you impressed my Anti-Christ, the only, in my opinion,Übermensch, by your unusual (at that time) confidence, polemics and intelligence, then you must have come from far, far galaxy which name I can't even pronounce. Despite what her sister, Frau Foster-Nietzsche, said about you having "insane egoism that knocks down whatever is in it's way" and "complete lack of morality," you're still the eternal muse. (Although why would anyone hold such esteem on this woman's words? She, who fabricated her brother's works and letters, should never be mentioned, all the more quoted.) You are the muse who were called upon, or at least called from the recesses of their (almost wet)dreams for invocation.

Rilke puts it as : You who never arrived

A Day in the Life

'woke up around 3 am to finish my research proposal, a class assignment. went to school, turned out that our instructor will give us more time to do it. What else:
1) Finished downloading 8 of 10 Dekalog(s) of Kieslowski, 2 more to go. I found the Magical Mystery Tour the movie in Pirate Bay and it made my day.
2) Almost finished downloading the discography of Broken Social Scene and Streolab. I found love in Ivy.
3) I bought a book of Jean-Jacques Rousseau which has --The Social Contract, Discourse on Inequality, Discourse on Arts and Sciences and the Creed of a Savoyard Priest for only 120 Php in Book Sale, Wow!
4) Watched Shangri-la at Eiga Sai in U.P. film center with Melanie. The film was funny. Shangri-la's directed by Miike Takashi(Andoromedia, Ichi the Killer, Audition, yes, he's my man!). Before that, we ate at this very sad Japanese restaurant at the shopping center.
4) I got home a bit soaked, watched Tarkovsky's Mirror while eating a papaya, chicken mami and bread.
5) I felt sleepy, so I wore my retainers after 4 months of not wearing them, then off to bed around 7.Francoise Hardy was playing while asleep.
6) It's 1 a.m. and I just woke up . . . I almost dropped my laptop.
7) I'm re-reading the Communist Manifesto for our class tomorrow and I realized that there's something in this that I never really noticed before. I've never read an angrier book introduction in my life, it's almost hilarious. Even though this little red thing as some would say, is a bit out dated, I still think that it's one of the best written books I've read. It makes a Ghandi go out and protest. . . or maybe not.
